To provide a folding door and a method for connecting a door of the folding door, which can suppress pinching without using a dedicated member in a hinge part.SOLUTION: A folding door includes: a door consisting of a hanging door 10 and a door end door 20 connected to the hanging door 10; and a hinge 30 connecting the hanging door 10 and the door end door 20. The hinge 30 includes: a first blade 31 fixed to a door end surface 13 of the hanging door 10 facing the door end door 20 when the hanging door 10 is fully closed; a second blade 32 fixed to a door tail end surface 24 of the door end door 20 facing the hanging door 10 when the door end door 20 is fully closed; and a rotating part 33 for rotatably supporting the first blade 31 and the second blade 32. The rotating part 33, a part of the first blade 31, and a part of the second blade 32 are provided at positions exposed from a door back surface 12 of the hanging door 10 and a door back surface 22 of the door end door 20 in the fully closed state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
