To provide a timber reinforcement method which can simply and easily suppress the progress of dent of a metal rod-shaped joint material to an inner peripheral surface of a through hole formed in the timber.SOLUTION: In a timber reinforcement method, a carbon fiber sheet 4 is provided on a timber surface 1f of a hole edge periphery of a through hole 11 formed in timber 1, when a metal rod-shaped joint material 3 is penetrated through a through hole 11 formed in the timber 1 and a through hole 21 formed in a metal material 2, and thereby the timber 1 and the metal material 2 are joined to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】簡単かつ容易に、木材に形成された貫通孔の内周面に対する金属棒状接合材のめり込みの進行を抑制できる木材補強方法等を提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係る木材補強方法では、木材1に形成された貫通孔11と金属材2に形成された貫通孔21とに金属棒状接合材3を貫通させることで木材1と金属材2とを接合する場合に、木材1に形成された貫通孔11の孔縁周囲の木材表面1fに炭素繊維シート4を設けたことを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
