To enable press-in of a longer press-in pile when press-in piles are connected by a vertical joint and pressed-in.SOLUTION: A pile press-in device 10 comprises: a saddle 1; clamp devices 2F, 2R provided at a bottom of the saddle 1 and gripping upper ends of existing piles pressed into the ground; a mast 4 erected on the saddle 1; a lifting device 5; and a chuck device 6 supported by the mast 4 via the lifting device 5 and gripping pressed-in piles Pd. Using the pile press-in device 10, when connecting a plurality of pressed-in piles Pd by a vertical joint and pressing a connected pile connected in a longitudinal direction into the ground, a holding chuck attachment 60 holds upper parts of the pressed-in piles Pd. The holding chuck attachment 60 includes: a fixing clamp device 64 clamping the upper ends of the existing piles P and fixing the holding chuck attachment 60 to the existing piles P; and holding chuck devices 61, 62 gripping the upper parts of the pressed-in piles Pd.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
