To provide an earth retention structure allowing reinforcement of the ground at one side to be easily carried out.SOLUTION: An earth retention structure 1 comprises: a first earth retention wall 2 arranged in a ground at one side; a second earth retention wall 3 arranged in a ground at the other side; a third earth retention wall 4 arranged apart from the first earth retention wall 2 on the natural ground side; an improved ground 5 formed between the first earth retention wall 2 and the third earth retention wall 4 by being improved at least partially with improving material; and an excavated part 6 arranged between the first earth retention wall 2 and the second earth retention wall 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
