OFFSHORE WINDMILL FABRICATION AND TOWING METHOD
To provide an offshore windmill fabrication and towing method capable of realizing efficient fabrication and towing of an offshore windmill mounted with a floating type concrete foundation.SOLUTION: An offshore windmill fabrication and towing method is to fabricate an offshore windmill 80 by assembling a tower 82 on a floating type concrete foundation 70 in a state where the foundation is floated and moored to a quay wall P and to tow the windmill offshore. The offshore windmill fabrication and towing method comprises: a preparation step of lowering an elevation of the floating type foundation 70 while keeping a draft of the floating type foundation 70 smaller than a water depth of the quay wall P by partially filling a ballast chamber 79A of the floating type foundation 70 with water; an offshore windmill fabrication step of fabricating the offshore windmill 80 by assembling the tower 82 on the floating type foundation 70 with the same floating on water; and a towing step of towing the offshore windmill 80 to a designated offshore position after adjusting the draft suitable for towing operation by discharging ballast water from the ballast chamber 79A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 18
