BUCKLING RESTRAINT BRACE
To provide a buckling restraint brace capable of preventing the occurrence of parts falling off and areas that cannot be stiffened when the core material deforms while enjoying the same effect such as adjustment of the axial force of the core material using a conventional structure in which a spacer is inserted into a slit provided in the core material, and suppressing the strength decrease in the strong axis direction.SOLUTION: A buckling restraint brace 100 has a core material 10, and a pair of restraining materials 30 made of square steel pipes. The core material 10 has a wide part 12 on both ends and a narrow part 11 in the center, and a transition part 13 that connects the wide part 12 and the narrow part 11, and in which the width gradually becomes narrower toward the narrow part 11, and at the boundary P2 with the narrow part 11, the width is narrower than the narrow part 11. In the center of the narrow part 11, a shrinkage margin portion 18 is provided, which is narrower in width than other regions and serves as a shrinkage margin when the core material 10 is compressed and deformed. Two notches 16 are provided that extend in the longitudinal direction of the narrow part 11 starting from the left and right ends of the shrinkage margin portion 18. 【課題】芯材に設けられているスリットにスペーサーが内挿される従来構造による芯材の軸力調整と強軸方向の強度低下抑制といった同様の効果を享受しながら、芯材の変形の際の部材の抜け落ちや補剛不能領域の発生を防止できる、座屈拘束ブレースを提供すること。【解決手段】芯材10と、角形鋼管からなる一対の拘束材30とを有する座屈拘束ブレース100であり、芯材10は、両端側にある広幅部12と中央側にある狭幅部11と、広幅部12と狭幅部11を繋いで幅が狭幅部11に向かって徐々に狭くなり、狭幅部11との境界では狭幅部11と幅が同じである遷移部13とを有し、狭幅部11の中央側には、幅が他の領域に比べて狭く、芯材10の圧縮変形の際の縮み代となる縮み代部18が設けられ、縮み代部18の左右端を起点として狭幅部11の長手方向に延びる2つの切り込み16が設けられ、切り込み16の端部が遷移部13との境界に位置している。【選択図】図1
