To provide a sash provided with a cut-off window portion capable of preventing the infiltration of water even when the water level of the outside of a building reaches the window portion of the building, and a method for replacing an opening/closing window portion with the cut-off window portion while using a sash frame as it is.SOLUTION: A sash 1 includes a sash frame 2 and an opening/closing window portion 4, in which a fixed, non-opening/closing cut-off window portion 5 is installed below the opening/closing window portion 4, and a lighting material capable of withstanding high water pressure is arranged on the cut-off window portion 5. A method for repairing a sash including a sash frame and a window portion, the method comprising: a step for removing the window frame from the sash frame; a step for attaching a lighting material to an attachment constituting the window frame of the cut-off window portion and providing sealing between the attachment and the lighting material; and a step for watertight-bonding the attachment constituting the window frame of the cut-off window portion to the sash frame.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】建造物外部の水位が建造物の窓部にまで達した場合でも、水の浸入を防止できる止水窓部を備えたサッシ、及びサッシ枠をそのまま利用しながら、開閉窓部を止水窓部に交換する方法の提供。【解決手段】サッシ枠２及び開閉窓部４を含むサッシ１であって、固定され開閉しない止水窓部５を、開閉窓部４より下部に設置し、この止水窓部５には、高水圧に耐えられる採光材を配置する。サッシの改修方法は、サッシ枠及び窓部を含むサッシの改修方法であって、サッシ枠から窓枠を取り外す工程、止水窓部の窓枠を構成するアタッチメントに採光材を取り付け、前記アタッチメントと前記採光材との間にシーリングを施す工程、前記止水窓部の窓枠を構成するアタッチメントを、前記サッシ枠に対して水密に接合する工程、を含む。【選択図】図１
