GABLE MEMBER OF SINGLE-SIDED ROOF
To provide a gable member attached to a single-sided roof that is highly versatile, easily forms ventilation passages, and has excellent waterproof performance that prevents rainwater from entering through the ventilation openings.SOLUTION: A gable member 1 attached to a ridge 50A of a single-sided roof 50 includes a first member 2 that closes an attic space 21 of the single-sided roof 50 below the ridge 50A and is directly fixed to the building below the ridge 50A; and a second member 3 that is fixed to the building outside the first member 2 via the first member 2 and forms a ventilation space 4 between the first member 2 and itself. A first ventilation port 5A that communicates the ventilation space 4 and the attic space 21 is formed in the first member 2. A second ventilation port 5B is formed in either the first member 2 or the second member 3 below the first ventilation port 5A to communicate the ventilation space 4 with the outside air. The second member 3 is bent to extend toward the first member 2 side. Thus, the ventilation space 4 is secured between the first member 2 and the second member 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】片流れ屋根に取り付ける破風部材であって、汎用性が高く、換気通路を簡単に形成するとともに、雨水が換気口から侵入しづらい防水性能に優れた破風部材を提供する。【解決手段】片流れ屋根50の棟部50Aに取り付ける破風部材1は、棟部50Aの下方において片流れ屋根50の小屋裏空間21を塞ぎ、棟部50Aより下方の建屋に直接固定される第1部材2と、第1部材2の外側に第1部材2を介して建屋に固定され、第1部材2との間に換気空間4を形成する第2部材3からなり、第1部材2には換気空間4と小屋裏空間21を連通する第1換気口5Aを形成し、第1部材2あるいは第2部材3のいずれかに第1換気口5Aの下方において換気空間4と外気を連通する第2換気口5Bを形成し、第2部材3を屈折させて第1部材2側へ張り出させることにより、第1部材2と第2部材3の間に換気空間4を確保した。【選択図】図1
