STAY AND OPENING/CLOSING UNIT

To suppress deterioration of aesthetic property of a stay having a specified function.SOLUTION: A stay can be applied to an opening/closing unit that includes a main body and an opening/closing section capable of being opened/closed relative to the main body. A housing is made of a resin material. A slide member is made of a resin material and slides with respect to the housing. A linear damper is housed in a housing space formed by the housing and the slide member and includes a cylinder tube and a piston rod. The stay expands and contracts as the slide member slides with respect to the housing. A linear damper expands and contracts as the stay expands and contracts. One of the housing and the slide member includes a first connecting section that is pivotably connected to the main body. The other of the housing and the slide member includes a second connecting section that is pivotably connected to the opening/closing section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

【課題】所定の機能をもたせたステーのデザイン性の低下を抑制すること【解決手段】ステーは、本体と、本体に対して開閉可能な開閉部と、を含む開閉ユニットに適用可能である。ハウジングは、樹脂材料で形成される。スライド部材は、樹脂材料で形成され、ハウジングに対してスライドする。リニアダンパは、ハウジングとスライド部材とによって形成された収容空間に収容され、シリンダチューブ及びピストンロッドを含む。ステーは、スライド部材のハウジングに対するスライドにより伸縮する。リニアダンパは、ステーの伸縮に伴って伸縮する。ハウジング又はスライド部材の一方は、本体に対して回動可能に接続するための第１の接続部を含む。ハウジング又はスライド部材の他方は、開閉部に対して回動可能に接続するための第２の接続部を含む。【選択図】図１
