To surely prevent a window glass from being damaged by a flying object.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a window glass protector 2 including a cover disposed on the outdoor side of a window glass 1, and a band 12 provided for surrounding the outdoor side and the indoor side of the window glass and holding the cover on the outdoor side of the window glass, the band being sandwiched and fixed between the window glass 1 and a window frame 3. The cover is configured to include a plurality of box-shaped covers 11A, 11B made up of a front plate 13 provided so as to be separated to the outdoor side with respect to the window glass 1 and a side plate provided toward the indoor side from the front plate 13, and the box-shaped covers 11A, 11B can be bent in a chevron shape in conjunction with opening and closing of the window glasses 1A, 1B by connecting mutual tip parts of inside plates 16 positioned inside the adjacent box-shaped covers 11 among the side plates by a connecting part 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】 飛来物による窓ガラスの損傷をより確実に防止する【解決手段】 窓ガラス１の室外側に配置されるカバーと、窓ガラスの室外側と室内側とを囲繞するように設けられて、上記カバーを窓ガラスの室外側に保持するバンド１２とを備え、上記バンドを上記窓ガラス１と窓枠３との間に挟持させて固定する窓ガラス保護具２に関する。上記カバーは、上記窓ガラス１に対して室外側に離隔するように設けられた正面板１３と、当該正面板１３より室内側に向けて設けられた側板とから構成された複数の箱状カバー１１Ａ、１１Ｂによって構成され、上記側板のうち、隣接する箱状カバー１１の内側に位置する内側板１６の先端部同士を連結部１８によって連結することで、箱状カバー１１Ａ、１１Ｂを窓ガラス１Ａ、１Ｂの開閉に伴ってく字形に屈曲可能とした。【選択図】 図５
