To provide a hood striker that provides enhanced stability of height adjustment operation and a swaging-fixing method for an L-shaped hook suitable for manufacturing the hood striker.SOLUTION: A hood striker of the present invention includes: a base 10; a vertically long nut 16 fixed to the base; a flanged bolt 19 screwed with the nut; and an L-shaped hook 11 provided with a first leg portion 12 movable up and down through a through-hole 14 of the base. An end portion 21 of a second leg portion 13 of the L-shaped hook 11 is swaged and fastened to the head of the bolt 19 with strength allowing for rotation of the bolt. The bolt head is simultaneously formed at a hexagon head 27 at the time of swaging the end portion 21 of the second leg portion 13. Grease G is applied to the swaged and fixed portion in a process before swaging, and rotation torque of the bolt is adjusted in a predetermined range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】高さ調整作業の安定性を高めたフードストライカと、その製造に適したL字状フックのかしめ固定方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明のフードストライカは、ベース１０と、ベースに固定された縦長のナット１６と、このナットに螺合されたフランジ付きのボルト１９と、ベースの貫通孔１４を貫通して昇降する第１脚部１２を備えたＬ字状フック１１とからなり、Ｌ字状フック１１の第２脚部１３の先端部２１はボルト１９の頭部に、ボルトの回転を許容する強度でかしめ固定されている。ボルト頭部は第２脚部１３の先端部２１をかしめる際に六角頭部２７に同時成形される。かしめ固定した部分にはかしめの前工程でグリスＧが塗布され、ボルトの回転トルクが所定範囲に調整されている。【選択図】図２
