To provide a material conveying device that can switch material lateral positions with a simple operation and mechanism.SOLUTION: Suspender parts 6A, 6B are equipped with a rotation mechanism 60 that has a shaft part 61 extending in the vertical direction, a beam part 62 provided on the shaft part 61, and a suspender member 64 provided on the beam part 62 for suspending materials W1. The rotation mechanism 60 switches the position of the materials W1 in the lateral direction D2 by rotating the beam part 62 about the shaft part 61. In this manner, the rotation mechanism 60 can switch the position of the materials W1 in the lateral direction D2 according to the conditions around a material conveying device 100, conveying situation, etc., by simple operation of simply rotating the beam part 62 about the shaft part 61.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
