To provide a method for measuring the thickness of a covering material applied to the walls of a building, a system for measuring the thickness of a covering material, and a method for constructing a covering material.SOLUTION: A coating material thickness measurement method includes steps of: setting fiducial markers (step 1); acquiring a construction shape including the three-dimensional coordinates of the surface of a covering material and three or more reference three-dimensional coordinates (step 2); calculating a virtual plane within the construction shape (step 3); calculating the thickness of the coating material (step 4); and displaying a coating material image (step 5).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
