To provide a mounting structure for an opening/closing body storage part which can fix a support plate for mounting a storage part by suppressing an error with simple work, and to provide a construction method for opening/closing body storage part.SOLUTION: In a mounting structure for an opening/closing body storage part, a support plate 23 is mounted on a building wall 17 based upon a lintel 31 provided at an opening part 19, and a storage part 13 capable of storing an opening/closing body is supported at the support plate 23. The lintel 31 includes: a seat part 39 which is provided extending horizontally at predetermined length from the building wall 17 and on which the support plate 23 is placed; and a notch side 47 adjacent to the seat part 39, positioned at predetermined length C from an end edge 43 of the lintel 31, and perpendicular to the building wall 17. The support plate 23 includes: a horizontal placement part 63 placed on the seat part 39; and a suspension piece part 65 which bends from a front edge of the placement part 63, which is suspended at a front edge of the seat part 39, and in which a side part 67 comes into contact with the notch side 47.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
