To provide a water gate opening and closing device capable of suppressing the cost of a rope-like member made of a chain or wire for suspending a gate body.SOLUTION: In a water gate opening and closing device 10 having a rope-like member 12 to one side end of which a gate body 11 is connected, and a driving rotor 15 which is rotated by the rotational force of a motor via a power transmission mechanism, winding up the suspended rope-like member 12 and lifting the gate body 11, the rope-like member 12 consists of either a chain or a wire, or both, and the rope-like member 12 has a first region 26 which includes a range from a part which contacts the driving rotor 15 when the gate body 11 is placed at the lowest position to one side end, and a second region 27 which is connected to the first region 26 and has a maximum allowable tension which is smaller than that of the first region 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】扉体を吊り下げるチェーン又はワイヤからなる索状部材のコストを抑制可能な水門開閉装置を提供する。【解決手段】一側端部に扉体11が連結された索状部材12、及び、モータの回転力を動力伝達機構経由で与えられて回転駆動し、掛けられた索状部材12を巻き上げて扉体11を上昇させる駆動回転体15を有する水門開閉装置10において、索状部材12は、チェーン及びワイヤのいずれか一方又は双方からなり、索状部材12は、扉体11が最下位置に配された状態で駆動回転体15に接触する部分から一側端部までの範囲を含む第1領域26と、第1領域26に連結され、第1領域26に比べて最大許容張力が小さい第2領域27とを有する。【選択図】図1
