To provide an opening/closing mechanism for a louver window provided in a glass wall of a building.SOLUTION: An opening/closing mechanism for a louver window is provided in a curtain wall and has openable/closeable slat-shaped glass, and it consists of a louver window unit unitized of a frame body with a rectangular framework of an upper frame, a lower frame, and vertical frames 24 on the left and right sides, and a louver window with openable/closeable slat-shaped glass disposed within the frame body. It comprises an opening/closing mechanism that opens and closes the glass and has a reduction gear 72 that reduces a speed of rotation and transmits power.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
