To provide a high weather resistance heat-treated lumber having antiseptic, dimensional stability, and antiseptic/termite repellency performance due to chemicals, which is less susceptible to fading and excellent in weather resistance, and a production method thereof.SOLUTION: A preservation treatment agent is penetrated inside from a surface of a lumber in a state an inside hydroxyl group is hydrophobized as hemicellulose in the lumber is decomposed and modified through heat treatment. The preservation treatment agent includes a copper compound. The preservation treatment agent is penetrated through processes of: receiving an untreated solid lumber body 12 in a sealed tank, carrying out pressure reduction in the sealed tank, carrying out heat treatment to introduce steam in the sealed tank and to increase a temperature; and penetrating the preservation treatment agent through injection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】熱処理による防腐性と寸法安定性、及び薬剤による防腐・防蟻性を併せ持ち、退色し難く、耐候性に優れた高耐候性熱処理木材とその製造方法を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】木材中のヘミセルロースが熱処理により分解・変性され、内部の水酸基が疎水化された状態であり、保存処理剤が木材の表面から内部に浸透している。保存処理剤は銅化合物を含むものである。密閉タンク内に無垢の未処理木材本体１２を収容し、密閉タンク内を減圧する減圧処理を行い、次に密閉タンク内に水蒸気を導入して昇温する熱処理を行い、次に注入処理を行って保存処理剤を浸透させる。【選択図】図１
