To provide a civil engineering structure that has strong creep strength in vertical and horizontal directions and is rigid and can be easily constructed by human power.SOLUTION: A civil engineering structure is an underground buried type in which layer structures having a plurality of tables with legs aligned in a horizontal plane, a plurality of rigid columns in a vertical direction, a plurality of rigid beams in a horizontal direction, and a rigid support base placed on the table with legs are vertically laminated. The table with legs has an upper and lower table parts and hollow legs with upper and lower ends opened to separate the upper and lower table parts away from each other. The rigid column is stored in the leg so that upper and lower ends protrude from the table with legs. The rigid support base has a concavity at a center on an upper and lower surfaces and a groove extending in four directions from the concavity on the upper surface. The upper and lower ends of the rigid column are stored in the concavity of the rigid support bases on and under the table with legs.
