To provide a hinge stopper and a storage box with a simple structure and low cost, capable of being easily assembled.SOLUTION: A hinge stopper 1, having a pair of hinge plates 21, 22 respectively connected to a rotation axis 20 in a rotatable manner, regulates a maximum opening angle θ of a hinge 2 fixed on an object 4 via installation holes 210, 220 formed on each of the hinge plates 21, 22. The hinge stopper 1 has a main body 10, and a fixing hole 13 on one end side 11 of the main body 10, which is fixed on either of a fixing side 41 and a movable side 42 of the object 4 via either of the installation holes 210, 220 of the hinge plates 21, 22. The other end side 12 of the main body 10 is formed so as to abut on the other of the fixing side 41 and the movable side 42 of the object 4, at a position preset on a rotation path rotating around the rotation axis 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
