To provide an exterior floor fall prevention device that can maintain the state covering a base isolation groove without breaking an exterior floor when an earthquake occurs even in the case that an obstacle exists adjacent to a building frame of base isolation structure.SOLUTION: An exterior floor fall prevention device A is placed to a base isolation groove 3 that is adjacent to a building frame 1 and covered by an exterior floor. The exterior floor fall prevention device A comprises: a variable structure 10 that is placed at a second groove side surface 3b of the base isolation groove 3 located at an opposite side to the building frame 1 so as to space from a first groove side surface 3a placed at the building frame 1 side and is deformable and can support the exterior floor; and elastic members 30 that are made to return deformed variable structure 10 to an original configuration by an elastic force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】免震構造の躯体に近接して障害物があった場合でも、地震が発生したときに、外構床が破損することなく免震溝を塞いだ状態を維持することができる外構床落下防止装置を提供する。【解決手段】外構床落下防止装置Aは、躯体1に隣接しかつ外構床で覆われた免震溝3に配置される。外構床落下防止装置Aは、躯体1の側に位置する第1溝側面3aから離間するように、躯体1とは反対側に位置する免震溝3の第2溝側面3bに配置され、変形可能かつ外構床を支持可能な可変構造体10と、弾性力により、変形した可変構造体10を元の形状に復帰させる弾性部材30と、を備えている。【選択図】図3
