To provide a floor material that can prevent the formation of steps, a method for attaching the floor material and a method for removing the floor material.SOLUTION: A base material layer 12 of a floor material 10 has a first short edge portion 30, a second short edge portion 40, a first long edge portion 50 and a second long edge portion 60. On the surface side of the first short edge portion 30, there is a first protrusion 34 protruding to one side in the longitudinal direction of the base material layer 12, and on the back side of the second short edge portion 40, there is a second protrusion 44 protruding to the other side in the longitudinal direction of the base material layer 12. The first long edge portion 50 is provided with a male solid portion 52 extending in the longitudinal direction of the base material layer 12, and the second long edge portion 60 is provided with a female solid portion 62 extending in the longitudinal direction of the base material layer 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
