To provide a trigger member capable of attaching/detaching a long trigger member to/from a rail without removing the rail from a head jamb, a soft-closing member equipped with the trigger member, and a sliding door.SOLUTION: A trigger member is provided on a rail opened along an axial direction on a bottom face of a hollow member whose cross section perpendicular to the axis has a substantially square shape, and is attachable to a pair of grooves facing each other parallel to a top face in an inner top part of the rail. The trigger member comprises: a main body part formed of a strip-like plate material having a width equal to or smaller than the width of an opening between the pair of grooves; a protrusion part formed on a tip side of the main body part by bending work, which protrudes downward when attached to the rail; a wide part formed closer to the tip side than the protrusion part, having a dimension larger than the width of the opening; and a hole on the rear end side of the main body part for fixing on an opening end part of the rail with a screw.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
