To provide a construction method of a steel pipe pile that can ensure a necessary bearing capacity even when an embedded depth into a supporting layer is short.SOLUTION: In a construction method of a steel pipe pile in which a steel pipe pile 1 comprising a steel pipe body with an open tip portion and a blockage promoting member 5 on an inner surface of the tip portion of the steel pipe body 1A penetrates a ground: an in-pipe soil volume adjustment device 3 for adjusting an in-pipe soil volume inside the steel pipe body 1A is controlled until the tip of the steel pipe body 1A reaches a supporting layer G2 of the ground G; and the tip of the steel pipe body 1A penetrates the supporting layer G2 to a depth of at least 0.7 times an outer diameter dimension of the steel pipe body 1A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】支持層への根入れ深さが短い場合であっても必要な支持力を確保できる鋼管杭の施工方法を提供する。【解決手段】実施形態における鋼管杭の施工方法は、先端部が開放された鋼管本体と、鋼管本体1Aの先端部の内面に閉塞促進部材5を備える鋼管杭1を地盤に貫入する鋼管杭の施工方法であって、鋼管本体1Aの先端が地盤Gの支持層G2に到達するまでは鋼管本体1Aの管内土量を調整するための管内土量調整装置3を制御し、鋼管本体1Aの外径寸法の0.7倍以上の深さまで、鋼管本体1Aの先端を支持層G2に貫入する。【選択図】図5
