To provide a floor structure with improved sound insulation performance by integrating a cushioning material, a metal plate, and a surface material provided on the metal plate, and a method for constructing the floor structure.SOLUTION: A floor structure 1 according to the present invention includes a floor slab 2 formed of CLT, a cushioning material 3 provided on the floor slab 2, a metal plate 4 provided on the cushioning material 3, an adhesive film 5 covering the entire surface of the metal plate 4, and a surface material 6 placed on the adhesive film 5 covering the upper plate surface of the metal plate 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
