To provide a sound insulation reinforcing material which can be easily constructed and improves sound insulation performance.SOLUTION: A sound insulation reinforcing member includes a first sound insulation structure layer, a second sound insulation structure layer on the first sound insulation structure layer, and a first sheet-like member that is in contact with the first sound insulation structure layer and the second sound insulation structure layer between the first sound insulation structure layer and the second sound insulation structure layer; each of the first sound insulation structure layer and the second sound insulation structure layer has a cylindrical member forming a cavity in a normal direction of one plane, a plurality of the cylindrical members are densely arranged, and the second sound insulation structure layer is laminated on the first sound insulation structure layer in the normal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
