To provide a staircase member, a spiral staircase, and a method for assembling the spiral staircase, which can be efficiently assembled along the spiral direction.SOLUTION: A staircase member 10 that is assembled to form a spiral staircase 1 is provided with a substantially cylindrical column component 20 that constitutes a vertically extending support 2, and a main body 11 that is substantially fan-shaped in plan view and that constitutes a tread surface 31, disposed radially outward of the column component 20. The main body 11 is provided with an engagement portion 60 that engages with the main body 11 of the staircase member 10 adjacent in the spiral direction in the up-down direction. The engagement portion 60 has a lower engagement protrusion 61 on the lower side in the spiral direction that engages from below with an upper engagement recess 62 of an assembled staircase member 10X, and the upper engagement recess 62 on the upper side in the spiral direction that engages from above with the lower engagement protrusion 61 of the staircase member 10 to be assembled next.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
