To provide an impact-damping device etc. which can prevent damage of an elastic body caused by shearing deformation and enables the elastic body to follow differences of orientations of collision surfaces.SOLUTION: An impact-damping device 2 is provided at, for example, a friction damper to mitigate a collision between the friction damper provided at a lower structure of a base isolation building and an upper structure. The impact-damping device 2 has: an elastic body 22 provided on a collision surface of the friction damper; and a restriction member 25 which is disposed at the side of the elastic body 22 in a direction orthogonal to a collision direction on the collision surface to restrict deformation of the elastic body 22 in the direction orthogonal to the collision direction. A clearance 28 is provided between the restriction member 25 and the elastic body 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】せん断変形による弾性体の損傷を防止でき、且つ衝突面の向きの違いに弾性体が追従できる受衝装置等を提供する。【解決手段】受衝装置2は、例えば、免震建物の下部構造に設けられた摩擦ダンパと、上部構造との衝突を緩和するために、摩擦ダンパに設けられる。受衝装置2は、摩擦ダンパの衝突面に設けられた弾性体22と、衝突直交方向における弾性体22の変形を制限するために、上記衝突面において、弾性体22の衝突直交方向の側方に配置された規制部材25と、を有する。規制部材25と弾性体22の間には、クリアランス28が設けられる。【選択図】図2
