GUARD POST
To provide a guard post having a desired strength while being lightweight and improving the workability of installing and removing the guard post.SOLUTION: This invention is a guard post for forming a fall prevention fence on an edge of a building roof or rooftop, and comprises a square cylindrical outer pipe 1, a square cylindrical inner pipe 2 that is inserted into a hollow part of the outer pipe 1 and can move up and down along an inner wall of the outer pipe 1, and a clamp part 3 that allows the outer pipe 1 and inner pipe 2 to be attached and detached to a part to be attached. The clamp part 3 comprises an upper receiving metal part 30 provided at a lower end of the outer pipe 1, a lower receiving metal part 31 provided at a lower end of the inner pipe 2 and clamping the part to be attached together with the upper receiving metal part 30, and a tilt restricting body 301 provided on the underside of the upper receiving metal part 30 that restricts tilting by contacting the part to be attached.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
