CORNER STRUCTURE FOR HANDRAIL COPING
To enable a corner joiner interposed between the left and right coping covers to flexibly follow a step generated between the left and right coping covers during a fitting operation in a corner structure for a handrail coping in which left and right coping covers are joined in an L shape and fitted to a coping bottom plate.SOLUTION: A corner joiner 5 is provided with: a partition wall 51 made of a flexible synthetic resin material and held between obliquely cut end surfaces of left and right coping covers 2 and 2 to block each end surface; a receiver 52 bulging left and right from the lower edge of the partition wall 51 to support the backsides of the coping covers 2 and 2; and a pressing part 53 bulging left and right from the upper edge of the partition wall 51 to cover the surfaces of the coping covers 2 and 2. The bulging part of the receiver 52 is formed wider than that of the pressing part 53. The receiver 52 is provided with a low-rigidity part 55 for relatively reducing the twist rigidity of the partition wall 51 in the longitudinal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】左右の笠木カバーをL字形に留め継ぎして笠木底板に嵌合させる手摺笠木の隅部構造において、左右の笠木カバー間に介装する隅部ジョイナーを、嵌合作業の途中に生じる左右の笠木カバー間の段差に柔軟に追従させる。【解決手段】隅部ジョイナー5は、可撓性を有する合成樹脂材料により形成され、左右の笠木カバー2、2の斜めに切断された端面間に挟まれて各端面を塞ぐ隔壁部51と、隔壁部51の下縁部から左右に張り出して各笠木カバー2、2の裏面を支持する受け部52と、隔壁部51の上縁部から左右に張り出して各笠木カバー2、2の表面に被さる押え部53と、を具備する。受け部52の張り出し幅は押え部53の張り出し幅よりも大きくなるように形成され、その受け部52には、隔壁部51の長さ方向周りの捻れ剛性を相対的に低下させる低剛性部55が設けられている。【選択図】図2
