To provide an electric shutter device capable of preventing a shutter curtain from reaching the upper limit at high speed.SOLUTION: The electric shutter device includes: a DC motor for driving a shutter curtain to open and close a shutter curtain using DC power; and a control unit for performing PWM-control the power supply to the DC motor. The control unit, when driving the DC motor at a first speed, set a first speed threshold as the upper limit speed, and when driving the DC motor at a second speed different from the first speed, set a second speed threshold different from the first speed threshold as the upper limit speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
