To provide a construction method of an underground structure and an underground structure which can suppress generation of a difference of elevation of a ground between a part constructed by a normal construction method and a part constructed by an inverted construction method.SOLUTION: There are provided: a construction method of an underground structure of a building 1 which includes a first construction step of constructing a first structure part 21 of an underground structure 20 by a normal construction method, a second construction step of constructing a second structure part 22 adjacent to the first structure part 21 of the underground structure 20 by an inverted construction method, and a brace installation step of installing a brace 30 in a boundary part B between the first structure part 21 and the second structure part 22; and the underground structure 20 which has the first structure part 21 constructed by the normal construction method, the second structure part 22 constructed by the inverted construction method, and the brace 30 installed in the boundary part B between the first structure part 21 and the second structure part 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
