To provide a swing brake device for a construction machine that is capable of precisely controlling a brake delay speed with a simple configuration and is capable of suitably preventing damage to a brake.SOLUTION: A swing brake device for a construction machine (a brake device 100) comprises: a swing motor 110 swinging a super structure of a construction machine; a brake 120 stopping rotation of the swing motor 110; a brake valve 200 operating the brake 120; and a delay circuit 170 disposed in a drain circuit 180 of a spring chamber 242 of the brake valve 200. The delay circuit 170 includes: a check valve 172 allowing a flow of hydraulic oil in a direction releasing the brake 120; and a throttle 174 which is arranged in parallel with the check valve 172 and through which hydraulic oil passes when the brake 120 is operated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】簡略な構成でブレーキの遅延速度を精密に制御することができ、ブレーキの損傷を好適に防止することが可能な建設機械用旋回ブレーキ装置を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】本発明にかかる建設機械用旋回ブレーキ装置（ブレーキ装置１００）の構成は、建設機械の上部旋回体を旋回させる旋回モータ１１０と、旋回モータ１１０の回転を制止するブレーキ１２０と、ブレーキ１２０を動作させるブレーキ弁２００と、ブレーキ弁２００のスプリング室２４２のドレン回路１８０に配置された遅延回路１７０と、を備え、遅延回路１７０は、ブレーキ１２０を解除する方向の作動油の流れを許容するチェック弁１７２と、チェック弁１７２と並列に配置されブレーキ１２０を作動させる際に作動油が通過する絞り１７４と、を有することを特徴とする。【選択図】図１
