Disclosed is a reinforcing bar coupler comprising: two reinforcing bars to be connected while the end parts face each other; a female connection member bonded to a reinforcing bar on one side having a female screw part formed on an inner surface; and a male connection member bonded to a reinforcing bar on an other side having a male screw part formed on an outer surface to be combined with the female screw part of the female connection member. The reinforcing bars on one side and the other side are connected as the male screw part of the male connection member is screwed to the female screw part of the female connection member to form a connection part. The female connection member has a chip accommodation part to accommodate chips generated in the process of processing a female thread on an inner surface to facilitate the processing of a screw.
단부를 마주하여 이음될 두 철근; 일측의 철근에 접합되고 내면에 암나사부를 형성하는 암형 연결부재; 타측의 철근에 접합되고 외면에 상기 암형 연결부재의 암나사부에 결합되는 수나사부를 형성하는 수형 연결부재;가 포함되어 상기 암형 연결부재의 암나사부에 상기 수형 연결부재의 수나사부가 나사결합됨으로서 연결이음부를 이루어 일측과 타측의 철근이 이음되고 상기 암형 연결부재는 내면의 암나사산을 가공하는 과정에서 발생하는 칩을 수용하여 나사가공이 용이하도록 하는 칩수용부가 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 철근연결구가 개시된다.
