Disclosed is an invention related to a hood latch for a vehicle. The hood latch for vehicle comprises: a base in which a movement groove unit is formed; a latch gear which restrains a striker entering through the movement groove unit and is elastically supported in one rotation direction; a foul which is elastically supported in the same direction as that of the latch gear by being installed onto the base to be rotatable and restrains a rotation of the latch gear by a motion of engaging with the latch gear; a rotation hook unit which is elastically supported in a rotation direction different from that of the foul by being installed onto the foul to be rotatable and includes a plurality of support protrusions; a releasing unit which is installed to be rotatable onto a rotation support shaft, penetrating through the foul, and rotates the foul in the direction of spacing apart from the latch gear by pressurizing the support protrusions while being rotated in connection with a movement of an operation cable; and a cover unit which is installed to face the base by having the latch gear and the foul placed therebetween and restrains the releasing unit from being rotated at a set angle or more.
차량용 후드래치에 대한 발명이 개시된다. 본 발명의 차량용 후드래치는: 이동홈부가 형성된 베이스와, 이동홈부를 통해 진입된 스트라이커를 구속하며 일측 회전방향으로 탄성 지지되는 래치기어와, 베이스에 회전 가능하게 설치되어 래치기어와 같은 회전방향으로 탄성 지지되며 래치기어에 맞물리는 동작으로 래치기어의 회전을 구속하는 파울과, 파울에 회전 가능하게 설치되어 파울과 다른 회전방향으로 탄성 지지되며 복수 개의 지지돌기를 구비하는 회전걸림부와, 파울을 관통하는 회전지지축에 회전 가능하게 설치되며 작동케이블의 동작과 연동하여 회전하면서 지지돌기를 가압하여 파울을 래치기어와 멀어지는 방향으로 회전시키는 해제부 및 래치기어와 파울을 사이에 두고 베이스와 마주하는 상태로 설치되며 해제부가 설정된 각도 이상으로 회전됨을 구속하는 커버부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
