본 발명은 가로대를 구비하는 난간 지주에 있어서, 상기 난간 지주는 기판과 포스트로 분리되되 상기 기판의 중간부에는 통공이 형성된 돌출부가 수직으로 형성되도록 하고, 상기 돌출부에는 포스트의 하단부가 끼워져 결합되도록 하며, 상기 포스트의 하단과 돌출부를 수평으로 관통하여 너트와 나사결합되는 볼트의 중간부에는 풀림방지용 너트가 체결되도록 하되 상기 풀림방지용 너트는 항상 돌출부의 통공 내측에 위치하도록 구성되는 도난방지수단을 구비하는 난간 지주되는 도난방지수단을 구비하는 난간 지주를 제공하기 위한 것으로, 본 발명의 효과로는 포스트의 하단과 돌출부를 관통하는 볼트의 중간에 풀림방지용 너트를 체결하되 상기 풀림방지용 너트가 통공 내측에 위치하게 함으로써 외부에서 너트를 풀더라도 풀림방지용 너트는 풀 수 없도록 하여 결국 기판과 포스트를 분리시킬 수 없게 되어 난간의 도난을 방지할 수 있는 매우 유용한 발명인 것이다.
