INCREASED EXTENTION FOOTBRIDGE AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD OF THE SAME
The present invention provides an extendable pedestrian bridge installed in a bridge capable of preventing pedestrians from falling due to a damaged or a decrepit bottom plate; preventing a secondary accident by preventing objects from falling; minimizing damage due to collisional accidents by absorbing shock with rails; and a construction method thereof. According to a desirable embodiment, an extendable pedestrian bridge installed in the bridge comprises: extendable pedestrian bridge supporting beams arranged on a lateral wall of an upper slab of a bridge at constant intervals in a longitudinal direction to be stretched towards a width direction of the bridge; post supporters mounted on the top surfaces of the ends of the extendable pedestrian bridge supporting beams in the longitudinal direction of the bridge; bottom plate supporters installed in the top surface of the extendable pedestrian bridge supporting beams at constant intervals in the width direction of the bridge; a bottom plate fitted into the top surface of the bottom plate supporter; guardrail posts embedded into the post supporters at predetermined intervals; guardrails installed in the guardrail post in a height direction in the longitudinal direction; and a fall prevention safety net fixated to the post supporters, preventing objects from falling out of the bridge.
