The present invention relates to a safety cage for a core wherein a prefabricated form to form a wall of a passage type core such as a staircase, a pipe duct, and an elevator is fixated; and a construction method thereof. The present invention provides a safety cage for a core to allow usage of a prefabricated form in the formation of a passage type core, to facilitate a level adjustment of each side, and to carry out prevention for falling for safety.
