SUCTION PILE SUBSTRUCTURE AND CONSTRUCTING METHOD USING THEREOF
The present invention relates to a suction pile substructure and a construction method thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to a suction pile substructure and a construction method thereof, wherein a partition for providing buoyancy is provided inside the suction pile substructure to allow the floating towing while laid in a horizontal direction in order to secure its own buoyancy; the center of gravity of the suction pile substructure is low to secure the stability of a floating body during the long distance transfer on the sea; and the suction pile substructure can be launched in a shipment field with a low water level to facilitate the selection of a shipment field. The construction method of the suction pile substructure comprises: a step of towing the suction pile substructure to an installation position using a tugboat; a step of filling the inside of the partition with seawater; a step of moving the center of gravity to the lower side of the buoyancy center to make the suction pile substructure stand upright; a step of placing the suction pile substructure at the coordinates of installation using a winch installed in a small barge; and a step of making the suction pile substructure be seated on the seabed using its own weight to be embedded into the seabed using suction pressure. Therefore, the suction pile substructure is simple to install, reduces construction cost, and is economically efficient.
