The present invention relates to an expandable connecting device installed on the end part of a concrete bridge and, more specifically, to an expandable connecting device for a bridge having improved water leakage prevention features and an installing method thereof, wherein the generation of clearance between a lower plate and a waterproof plate is prevented by installing a sealing member between the lower plate and the waterproof plate, and the generation of clearance between adjacent waterproof plates is prevented by installing a coupling member composed of a metallic plate between a pair of waterproof plates. Accordingly, water leakage or the penetration of foreign materials and the penetration of calcium chloride, which is sprayed to remove snow in the winter, can be prevented by improving the waterproof features.
본 발명은 콘크리트 교량의 단부에 설치하는 신축이음장치에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 하부판과 방수판 사이에 밀봉부재를 설치하여 하부판과 방수판 사이에 유격이 생기지 않도록 하고, 한 쌍의 방수판 사이에 금속판재로 이루어진 커플링부재를 설치하여 이웃하는 방수판 사이에 유격이 생기지 않도록 함으로써 방수기능이 향상되어 누수 또는 이물질 침투, 겨울철 제설을 위해서 살포하는 염화칼슘의 침투를 방지할 수 있는 누수방지 기능이 향상된 교량용 신축이음장치 및 이의 설치방법에 관한 것이다.
