The present invention relates to a valve apparatus for an outdoor fire hydrant which can greatly reduce a failure and a leakage phenomenon on a valve sheet portion and reduce manufacturing costs. According to the present invention, the valve apparatus for an outdoor fire hydrant comprises: a valve bar mounted on a valve sheet; a sheet ring installed in a valve housing; sheet packing installed to seal a gap between the valve sheet and the sheet ring; and a guide plate installed on an upper end on the inside of the valve housing and provided with a through hole penetrated by the valve bar and meshed with the valve bar and an opening part through which fire water flows.
본 발명은 밸브시트 부위의 고장 및 누수 현상을 대폭 감소시킬 수 있고 제조비용을 절감시킬 수 있는 옥외소화전의 밸브장치에 관한 것이다. 이를 위한 본 발명의 옥외소화전 밸브장치는, 밸브시트와 결합되는 밸브대와; 밸브하우징 내에 설치되는 시트링과; 밸브시트와 시트링 사이의 기밀을 위해 설치되는 시트패킹과; 밸브하우징의 내측 상단에 설치되며 밸브대가 관통되며 맞물리는 관통홀과 소방용수가 유동되는 개구부가 형성된 밸브대 가이드판;을 포함하여 구성된 것을 특징으로 한다.
