The present invention relates to a protection cover for a fire door cylinder having a function of closing an upper part and a lower part which are open. A conventional protection cover could not prevent flames from permeating to be spread into a fire door since an upper part and a lower part thereof are formed in an open state. In order to close the upper part and the lower part of the conventional protection cover, an additional mold needs to be manufactured, and a company could not replace the mold easily because of expensive mold manufacturing costs. The present invention is to provide a protection cover for a fire door cylinder having a function of closing an upper part and a lower part which are open, which closes the upper part and the lower part using an upper cover and a lower cover fixed to the open upper part and the open lower part of the protection cover by a fixing unit so as to prevent flames and fire from being greatly spread by moving to the open upper part and the open lower part of the protection cover and then sticking on a heat insulation material after permeating into the cylinder through a gap between a door handle and the cylinder in case of fire.
본 발명은 개방된 상,하부 폐쇄기능을 갖는 방화문 실린더용 보호커버에 관한 것으로서, 기존 보호커버는 상,하부가 개방된 상태로 형성되어 화염이 방화문 내부로 침투하여 크게 확상되는 것을 차단할 수 없었고, 그 부분을 폐쇄하기 위해서는 별도로 금형을 제작하는 문제가 발생함으로써, 고가의 금형제조비용으로 인하여 업체에서는 쉽게 금형을 교체하지 못하는 문제점이 있었던 바, 본 발명은 화재시 도어손잡이와 실린더의 틈새로 화염 및 화기가 실린더로 유입된 후, 보호커버의 개방된 상,하부로 이동하여 단열재로 옮겨 크게 확산되는 것을 방지하기 위해서 보호커버의 개방된 상,하부에 고정수단으로 고정되는 상,하부커버를 이용하여 폐쇄하도록 하는 개방된 상,하부 폐쇄기능을 갖는 방화문 실린더용 보호커버를 제공하는 것이다.
