WATER METER FOR PREVENTING COUNTERFLOW
The present invention relates to a backflow preventing water meter. According to the present invention, the water meter comprises: a body (54) inserting a backflow prevention valve into a valve space part formed on an upper part of an outlet of the water meter in a flow direction of city water to block a lower first valve hole upon backflow, wherein one or more water through-holes (53a) are perforated on a circumference of the backflow prevention valve (52) such that a blocking force is quickly provided upon the backflow; a head (54) protruding on a lower part of the body to be inserted into the first valve hole; a packing (55) combined with the head and the lower part of the body to close the first valve hole; and a shaft part (56) protruding on an upper part of the body to be moved and guided to a groove part (18a) downwards a cap (18). As such, since the valve hole is easily opened along the flow of the city water when the city water normally flows, and the valve hole is quickly and surely blocked upon backflow; the city water is prevented from being contaminated and the amount of city water used measured, thus providing reliability of excellent usage.
본 발명은 역류 방지용 수도 미터기에 관한 것으로서, 좀더 상세하게는 수도 미터기의 유출구 상부에 상수의 흐름 방향으로 경사 형성되는 밸브 공간부로 역류방지밸브를 삽입하여 역류시 하부의 제1 밸브공을 차단하도록 하되, 상기 역류방지밸브(52)는 원주상에 적어도 하나 이상 통수공(53a)이 관통되어 역류시 차단력을 신속 제공하는 몸체(53)와, 상기 몸체 하부에 돌출되어 제1 밸브공(13)에 삽입되는 헤드(54)와, 상기 헤드 및 몸체 하부로 결합되어 제1 밸브공을 밀폐하는 패킹(55) 및, 상기 몸체 상부로 돌출되어 마개(18) 하부의 홈부(18a)에 이동 안내되는 축부(56)로 형성되는 간단 구조로 제공되는데, 상수의 정상 흐름시에는 상수의 흐름에 따라 밸브공을 쉽게 개방하고 역류시에는 신속하고 확실하게 밸브공을 차단하므로 상수의 오염 방지 및 상수의 사용 량을 정확하게 계측할 수 있어 사용 신뢰성을 우수하게 제공하는데 그 특징이 있다.
