    본원에는 LED 분야에서, 및 특히 형광체-변환 LED (pc-LED)에서 사용하기 위한 형광체가 기술된다. 형광체는 (YCe)(AlSc)0(여기서, 0 < x ≤ 0.04 및 0 < y ≤ 0.6)로 표시되는 조성을 가지고, 투명한 소결된 세라믹으로서 LED에 적용될 수 있거나 분말 형태로 사용될 수 있다. 형광체의 조성을 조정함으로써, 형광체는 청색-방출 In-GaN LED에 의한 여기 시에 가시광 스펙트럼의 녹색 내지 황색 영역의 광을 방출하도록 제조될 수 있다.
