The present invention relates to an expansion joint apparatus for a road using mastic asphalt and a construction method thereof, capable of having excellent durability and to perform a waterproof function which prevents underground water from spurting towards a road surface. That is, the present invention is able to use mastic asphalt, which is made by mixing asphalt (AP) modified with polymer and Trinidad lake asphalt (TLA), and a certain volume of stone flour to maintain durability with no damage despite a load of repeated passing by vehicles; and to fundamentally prevent underground water from spurting towards the road surface. According to the present invention, the expansion joint apparatus comprises: a perforated drainpipe and a backup material; a support plate; an elastic sealing material; and a highly elastic mastic asphalt.
본 발명은 내구성이 우수하고 지하수가 도로 위로 분출되는 것을 차단하는 방수 기능을 수행할 수 있도록 한 매스틱 아스팔트를 이용한 도로용 신축이음장치 및 이의 시공 방법에 관한 것이다. 즉, 본 발명은 폴리머와 천연아스팔트(TLA, Trinidad Lake Asphalt)로 개질된 아스팔트(AP, Asphalt)에 일정량의 분말 형태 석분이 혼합된 매스틱(Mastic) 아스팔트를 이용하여, 차량의 반복적인 통행 하중에도 파손되지 않고 내구성을 유지할 수 있고, 지하수가 도로 위로 분출되는 것을 원천적으로 차단하는 방수 기능을 수행할 수 있도록 한 매스틱 아스팔트를 이용한 도로용 신축이음장치 및 이의 시공 방법을 제공하고자 한 것이다.
