The present invention relates to an assisting apparatus for opening and closing a trunk door and a method thereof, comprising: a torque detection portion for detecting torque which is inputted by a user to open and close a trunk door of a vehicle; a control portion for adding additional torque to the torque inputted by the user within a total torque range required for opening and closing the trunk door when the trunk door is opened and closed manually by the user; and a motor driving portion for driving a motor assisting the opening and closing of the trunk door by a direction and intensity controlled by the control portion, thereby opening and closing the trunk door with less force.
본 발명은 트렁크 도어 개폐 지원 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 자동차의 트렁크 도어의 개폐를 위해 사용자가 입력하는 토크를 검출하는 토크 검출부; 상기 트렁크 도어를 사용자가 수동으로 개폐할 때 상기 트렁크 도어의 개폐를 위해 필요한 총 토크 범위 내에서 사용자가 입력하는 토크에 더하여 추가 토크를 지원하는 제어부; 및 상기 제어부가 제어하는 방향과 세기로 상기 트렁크 도어의 개폐를 지원하는 모터를 구동하는 모터 구동부;를 포함한다.
