A smart fence is disclosed. The smart fence comprises: a gateway platform including at least one of a sensor network, a bidirectional video and voice communication module, and a hybrid association agent module; and a management platform including at least one of a gateway management system, a designated terminal device association platform, a call setup proxy service bundle, a network security framework, an authentication right assignment account management proxy, an IP packet analysis bundle, an operation agent, a service provisioning bundle, a security bundle, and an IP packet filter bundle. Therefore, security of the fence is intelligently managed to monitor and control an animal or a person accessing the fence.
