Provided is an apparatus for hoisting a flag comprising: a base part perforated in the center; a rotating part rotatably disposed at an upper portion of the base part and penetrated in the center; a flag pole disposed on the rotating part to be rotated integrally with the rotating part, wherein an air passage in which air flows in is formed and a flag is hoisted on the outer face; and an injection fan disposed at a lower portion of the base part to inject air into the air passage formed inside the flag pole. The flag pole has a discharge part formed in the outer face of the upper part to discharge out the air introduced into the air passage. The discharge part has a first discharge hole and a second discharge hole, which are respectively formed at the right side and the left side with respect to the flag to discharge air toward the side of the flag, and a third discharge hole formed to be lower than the bottom of the flag in order to discharge air toward the bottom of the flag.
