Cinnabar ceramics of manufacture method using extracted pigment of plants
The present invention easily solves the problem of uneven red coloring which is a problem of the conventional cinnabar glaze added with copper oxide. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a cinnabar ceramic using an extracted pigment of a plant which can realize a clearer and more uniform red color. The carthamin, the red pigment of the plant, is extracted from a safflower leaf, and Shikonin is extracted from the root of Lithospermum erythrorhizon and mixed, and a certain amount of the mixture is added to a transparent glaze containing feldspar, limestone, and silica as main components to form a cinnabar glaze. The cinnabar glaze is applied to a biscuit-fired ceramic and the ceramic is roasted again. Only the mixed pigments of carthamin and Shikonin are reapplied to the surface of the ceramic which is roasted twice and dried. After applying the transparent glaze, the ceramic is roasted again.
본 발명은 기존의 산화동이 첨가된 진사유약의 문제점인 균일하지 못한 붉은색의 발현 문제를 쉽게 해결한 것으로, 구체적으로는 식물의 붉은 색소인 카사민(carthamin)을 홍화 잎에서 추출하고, 시코닌(Shikonin)은 자초(紫草)의 뿌리에서 추출하여 혼합한 후, 장석, 석회석, 규석 등을 주성분으로 하는 투명유약에 일정량을 첨가하여 진사유약을 조성하여, 초벌구이된 도자 기물에 도포하여 재벌구이를 한 후에, 재벌구이 된 도자기의 표면에 카사민(carthamin)과 시코닌(Shikonin)의 혼합 색소만을 재도포하여 건조한 뒤, 투명유약을 도포한 후 세벌구이를 하여 더욱 선명하고 균일하게 붉은색을 구현할 수 있는 식물의 추출 색소를 사용한 진사도자기의 제작방법에 관한 것이다.
