The present invention relates to a safety footboard for construction that is configured to insertedly fit end covers to front and back ends of a footboard body through protrusions and through holes formed on the end covers, without any separate fixing means, thereby preventing the escape from the footboard body, and configured to allow the end covers to surround outside surfaces of reinforcement legs to which slide prevention rubber is fitted, thereby preventing the slide prevention rubber from escaping from the reinforcement legs and also preventing a working surface from being damaged by rainwater. According to the present invention, the safety footboard for construction, which includes a footboard body (17) having a rectangular top plate (11) having a plurality of upward and downward protrusions (12, 13) formed thereon and reinforcement legs (14) formed over the whole lengths of the undersides of both sides of the top plate (11) in such a manner as to insert slide prevention rubber (16) thereinto, includes: cap-shaped end covers (20) made of a rubber material or soft synthetic resin material in such a manner as to be insertedly fitted to the front and back ends of the footboard body (17) and having reinforcement leg fitting portions (21) adapted to surround the outside surfaces except one side to which the reinforcement legs (14) are fitted; and a rainwater guide plate (30) slantly disposed under the footboard body (17) to allow rainwater to flow to the opposite side to a working surface (32).

본 발명은 공사용 안전발판에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 종래에 공사용발판의 전후방 단부에 단부마감판을 용접으로 결합하는 것 대신에, 발판본체의 전후방 단부에 고무재나 연질합성수지재로 형성된 단부커버를 삽탈식으로 끼워 결합하되, 상판에 형성되는 상,하향돌기부의 내외측에 끼워지는 돌기와 통공을 형성하여 단부커버가 별도의 고정 결합수단이 없이도 발판본체의 전후방 단부에서 이탈되지 않게 하고, 미끄럼방지고무가 끼워진 보강다리부의 외부 전체면을 단부커버가 감쌈에 따라 미끄럼방지고무가 보강다리부에서 이탈하지 않도록 하며, 공사용발판의 하부로 흘러내리는 빗물이 공사작업면 측으로 흘러내리지 않도록 하여 공사작업면이 빗물에 의해 손상되는 것을 예방할 수 있도록 하기 위한 것이다.본 발명은 원뿔관 형태로 형성되는 수개의 상하향돌기부(12,13)가 간격을 두고 상하로 돌출되게 형성되며 전후방향으로 길이가 긴 직사각형 상판(11)의 양측 하부에는 저면 전길이에 걸쳐 미끄럼방지고무(16)가 삽입 설치되는 사각홈통 형태의 보강다리부(14)가 형성되는 발판본체(17)가 철판으로 제작 형성되는 공사용발판(10)에 있어서, 상기 발판본체(17)의 전후방단부에 고무재나 연질 합성수지재로 형성된 캡 형태의 단부커버(20)를 삽탈가능하게 끼움 설치하되, 상기 단부커버(20)는 양측에 보강다리부(14)가 끼워질 사각홈통 형태의 보강다리끼움부(21)가 보강다리부(14)가 끼워지는 일측을 제외한 외부전체면을 감싸도록 형성되며, 양측 보강다리끼움부(21)가 마주보는 방향에 상판(11)이 끼워질 만큼의 간격으로 개구되게 형성되고, 양측 보강다리끼움부(21) 사이에는 양측의 개구되는 부분의 상하부를 연결하는 상,하면커버부(22,23)가 수평 형성되어 상,하면커버부(22,23)의 사이에 양측 보강다리끼움부(21)와 통하는 상판끼움부(24)가 형성되며, 상기 상,하면커버부(22,23)에는 상,하향돌기부(12,13)의 외주연이 끼워지는 통공(25)과 상,하향돌기부(12,13)의 구멍으로 삽입되는 돌기(26)가 동일한 중심선 상에 상하로 대응되게 형성되며, 상기 발판본체(17)의 하부에 빗물이 공사작업면(32)의 반대측으로 흘러내리도록 빗물안내판(30)을 경사지게 설치되는 구성이 포함되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
