본 발명은 지진 발생 시 보강대상 건물의 기둥에 집중되는 횡력을 효과적으로 감쇠할 수 있는 슬림형 강재댐퍼에 관한 것으로서, 판상의 금속으로 제작되고, 기둥의 상부 표면에 장착되며 다수의 앵커볼트설치공(55)이 구비된 상부부착부(110); 판상의 금속으로 제작되고, 기둥의 하부 표면에 장착되며 다수의 앵커볼트설치공(55)이 구비된 하부부착부(120); 상기 상부부착부(110)와 상기 하부부착부(120)를 서로 연결하는 슬릿부(130); 및, 상기 슬릿부(130)의 일부 영역이 기둥의 길이 방향으로 절개된 슬릿구멍(140);으로 이루어진 댐퍼몸체(100);를 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
